Taking turns reading.
Reading it silently alone or hearing someone else read it.
Answering questions together; finding the information and putting it down together. Working as a team on all the different lit circle roles.
Keeping each other updated; helping each other out with the different jobs.
Having a team to work with instead of working alone.
Having discussions in the group and sharing ideas.

Pay attention more.
Read more.
Add the artist role. Describe and label the artwork to add meaning. We need to visualize things better.
Add more flexibility- have a discussion leader and then choose from the other jobs instead of going in order.
Everybody read a section.
Mrs. Chapulis create a better planning sheet to keep us focused on daily jobs.
Present to the class at the end of the story- discuss the details of this further before we start the next story.
What should we NOT do next time?
Not having side conversations.
Having a sub- do alternate plans on sub days and resume lit circles when Mrs. C. is here.
