Why read books? Isn't the computer enough?

By now, you have heard me say that reading stories on paper and in books works your brain in a different way than reading on a computer or phone screen- just like reading aloud is a very different exercise than silent reading. This is why we do a variety of different activities involving reading and writing on computers and paper, silently and out loud. Below is a link to an article discussing print vs. digital reading.
