    Valedictorian=a student, typically having the highest academic achievements of the class, who delivers the valedictory at a graduation ceremony.
    Commencement=a beginning or start
    Undersecretary=a subordinate official, in particular (in the US) the principal assistant to a member of the cabinet, or (in the UK) a junior minister or senior civil servant.
